This website, and its content, was developed by volunteers in the Magnolia, Queen Anne and Interbay neighborhoods. It’s intent is to help our residents be more organized immediately following a disaster when city services might not be available.
It will inform you of the Disaster Response Plan in the Magnolia Queen Anne District of Seattle and answer the following questions:
The Magnolia-Queen Anne District Council’s Emergency Preparedness Committee (EPC) has developed a local plan to deal with disaster response. We already have volunteers in place to help with many aspects of the plan including radio communications.
Right now, we need people to volunteer for two key positions.
A Public Outreach Coordinator with great communication skills to:
This would be done through public presentations, press releases and bulletin board notices. We welcome innovation and creativity in our attempt to reach all ages
An Information Technology Manager to:

All meetings are at the Magnolia Library at 2801 34th Avenue West. If you are interested in your community and how you can participate or volunteer, you are welcome to come to our meetings.
